Ok. Real quick - a few updates & a few X's.
- Christmas Drama Team - Come Wednesday Nite & we will figure out a practice schedule.
- Youth Christmas Party - Looking at renting the skating rink & having a 70's disco theme - date TBA
- Youth Leadership Team - if you're on it and you missed Sunday morning consider yourself having 1 strike - no excuses - Mandatory meeting Wednesday Nite - if you're a no show give yourself another strike

FOOD FOR THOUGHT TODAY
Stop talking about people. Talking trash only makes you look bad. It doesn't show God to other's and it doesn't look good on you. When you talk trash about someone else, especially if you're nice to them to their face, then you are only showing what you're really made of. Remember, they may be really like you and they might be saying really great things about you. Basically, stop rolling your eyes & stop trash talking - it's ugly all the way around.

Talking trash is really easy because we are used to hearing it and it is easier to find the faults in someone else than it is to find the faults in yourself, usually the thing you find yourself talk bad about in another person is something that you wish you had or might not even be wrong but you want it. It could even be something you feel is wrong with you. Trash talk is something we hear everyday from everyone. You may be talking trash and not even realize it. Talking trash isn't right because you have no idea why that person is like that or what they are going through, and it is worse if you proclaim to be a christian because you are showing people that it is ok to keep doing what they do everyday as long as you are a christian and as a christian you don't need to let people think that. most people know these things so why do we keep doing it. i think it is because we are afraid to do anything different we are afraid that it won't turn out right and we will end up right back where we started. but i also believe that we can accomplish lots of things we don't think we can we are just to scared to try.
don't get me wrong i am not the perfect christian. in fact i am nowhere near where i need to be with Christ but i am trying to get there. i am just as much a sinner and just as guilty as everyone else is of these things and more. but i know that i am forgiven for these things and that i must try to stop doing them.

I think it's because your insecure or it helps make you feel better about your self. Well that's what I think. And I was going to vote on the poll, but I don't think I would've dressed up I probably would've just went.
